• Question: As our scientific knowledge increases and there is more to learn, how will the education system regarding science change?

      Our knowledge does increase as does our access to super technology. (You are using it right now.) It isn’t possible for anyone to learn everything scientific, but we need to learn transferable skills (quantitative skills being right up there) and consider a broad range of topics so that when you do specialize, your decision will be the right one.

      Another good question!

      There is so much already to learn, more than we could ever be taught in schools. So I think it is becoming more and more useful to learn in school how to learn for yourself throughout your life.

      By this I mean things like: learning how to read something critically and not just believing everything that is written (fake news!) and learning how to communicate your ideas to someone and listen to their ideas (so this includes writing well).

      If school can give you a basic understanding of science and the skills to learn more yourself, then I think the education system has done a good job.
