• Question: Did you always like science when you were young?

      I did like biology, in particular, when I was little. For a while I wanted to be a veterinarian. For a while a marine biologist. But I am most skilled at maths so it works best for me to use maths and stats to understand biological systems and in my case those are disease transmission systems. The problems are important and the scientific findings directly impact people’s lives.

      I liked the way it answered questions, and led to exploring the world around me.

      Yeah, I enjoyed science lessons at school. I remember doing an experiment about dissolving sugar in water when I was in year 6, and I just found it super interesting! I enjoyed most of school when I was young though, including history and music and everything.
