Some of it. I really didn’t like English literature essays. I felt like there was a trick question… what does the English teacher want me to say?
Part of the reason I liked math was that I could listen to music and still work effectively. I couldn’t do that with any homework except math.

I don’t think many people liked homework in school. However, it does need to be done as the syllabus can never be squeezed in the time you are never given. It also helps prepare you for later life- i.e. university.

Hmm I can’t remember homework at school having toooo much of an impact on my life. I think compared to some schools mine didn’t give out very much! And at university I had to work a lot, lot more hard!

Homework when I was younger, years 7-9 for example, sometimes felt a bit repetitive and I couldn’t understand the purpose. For coursework for GCSEs on the other hand I could see the purpose of it and I enjoyed doing something that was more like a project and not just completing a worksheet.
