I work in policy areas so it would be a huge honour to get an award like an OBE or CBE – which sometimes people get for their scientific (and other sorts of) contributions. But it’s not something you can aim to achieve – like studying for a test – you just work hard on the things that most interest you!

It would be nice to win an award! There isn’t one I’m specifically aiming for though.

I gave a presentation of my work on a big poster to other people at my university a couple of years ago and got the runner up award for (second) best poster presentation! I was very proud of myself.

I’d love to win the cake bake competition at work (no seriously, you don’t understand how important cakes are to us!!) but my cakes never turn out quite how I picture them in my head! They always taste great though.

Something that is a complete fantasy,
I think getting the Nobel prize would be an epicness of epic proportions. Of course, to win this you need to discover something that can reconfigure the way we think about science.
