• Question: how could crashing the population of the whiteflies negatively affect the envirnment?

      I hope it wouldn’t. There are many species in the whitefly complex, I am aiming to target 2 of them- the ones that are the most troublesome to food security. More than likely another (less harmful) species will take over.
      If I do get the system working, this is one of the questions that we would be studying in-depth. Many years of work will be done before it is ever released (if it ever is). The most interesting point from my aspect is all of the new biological data that has been found about this species whilst trying to tackle the overall question.
