Question: how will you reduce the transmission of the diseases

I conduct statistical analyses of data. This helps doctors know how many cases are likely to arise in the next few days/weeks and where to expect them. This helps them prepare with the right supplies and staffing levels. I have helped advise on how long to keep checking people after they might have been infected (this is based on the “incubation period” – the time from infection to showing symptoms of the disease). I work with colleagues at the World Health Organization.
