      I’m not sure I understand the question…
      If we prevent transmission of infections, then there are fewer opportunities for the development of resistance. Preventing infection is definitely a good thing. It is misuse (including overuse) of antibiotics that contributes to the evolutionary pressures that lead to more antibiotic resistant infections.

      If I misunderstood, please can you rephrase your question?
