      The bane of many peoples lives.
      For a quick summary whiteflies or bemisia tabaci are hemipterans. They are small (around 1 cm) and can live on many different plants. The problem with the these insects is that they can reproduce quickly and produce honeydew (that can cause sooty mould) which devastates the plants. They also transmit many different viruses.
