anon answered on 9 Jun 2017:
I conduct research (most of the time working with other people), I lecture students (both undergraduates and postgraduates) and I meet with PhD students to advise them on their work. Every day is different. I also talk to school kids – today I spoke as part of the Glasgow Science Festival.
My research is computational – so I work at a desk on a computer rather than in a lab. No white coat for me!
