My parents always encouraged me to question things and to be interested in learning. They still do.

My mom always had absolute faith in each of us.
Specifically on science, my biology teacher Mr Manuszak was great. (Treasure your great teachers!)
I liked to watch nature shows by Jacques Cousteau (think David Attenborough in scuba gear).
I also loved the books by James Herriot on his veterinary work in the UK. I would recommend these to everyone.

Hmm good question. I’m not sure I can think of one individual. My parents and a lot of my teachers, for sure. Also I read a lot of the ‘horrible science’ and ‘horrible history’ books when I was little, these were inspiring and made me want to learn so much more!
