I can use my skills (maths) and subject interest (biology) to i) learn new things and ii) help people and/or animals. Also, because science keeps pushing forwards, you keep doing new things.

When I was in school I enjoyed maths lessons and science lessons and I was good at it. So it made sense to do a job that involved science!

Because it is fun, and it is interesting. It is also important. Without science, the NHS couldn’t treat its patients properly and there would be a lot more suffering from disease.

I loved the idea of discovering something new and helping people because of it.
Science always interested me, and when reading about it in the newspapers I always thought ‘Oh I could do that aswell’.
