0 Question: why does pain exist ? Keywords: pain Asked by andra5857 to Beccy on 21 Jun 2017.
Rebecca Corkill answered on 21 Jun 2017:
Pain exists to protect you. If you didn’t feel pain when you touched a hot surface- you could be severely burnt. Or you might not know if you broke a bone.

There is a very nice book: https://www.amazon.com/Wouldnt-Want-Live-Without-Pain/dp/0531224414 all about this topic.
