• Question: do you ever feel bad for killing insects?

      Sometimes I do, especially whenever I have spent so long raising them.

      However, the question I am trying to answer is important to the human population. The human population is growing. Our food resources are constantly being hit by diseases caused by insects. My insect that I study transmits a lot of viruses. So I get over the guilt by thinking of the good that this research can give to the future.
