• Question: do you know any languages apart from english?

      I studied German in school, but it isn’t great. Also I’ve never had occasion to even try using it for work. I would have gotten a lot more use out of French. I grew up in Indiana, USA – there any foreign language seemed purely an academic pursuit.

      Unfortunately, I don’t speak any other languages very well. Which is a real disappointment of mine. But I guess it isn’t too late for me to learn!

      I studied french in school up to AS-level. And so I used to be quite good at it. But I haven’t practised speaking french in the last 7 years, so I have forgotten a lot.
