Personally, I really, really enjoyed my time at Warwick. It is quite a new university (only around 50 years old compared to some other universities in the country that are hundreds and hundreds of years old!) and so for its age it has a very good reputation.
I did a maths degree and I know the maths department there is one of the best. The lectures were very good and I’m happy that my degree is well respected by lots of employers so it helps me get a job.
Are you thinking of studying science at uni? Is there a science subject in particular that you are interested in? At Warwick you can do each subject separately (so like a degree in physics, or a degree in chemistry for example) but there are also courses that are a mixture of a couple of sciences (like a degree in biochemistry for example).
Well three of my cousins went to Warwick (one of them is graduating this year and the other two have finished) and they had the time of their life there. I am unsure whether to go on in Science- I am not great at it however, I think it is good to have a degree in but we will see. My favourite science is actually Chemistry but I don’t like Physics much at all. Thank you so much for answering my question and thank you for asking me some too.
Oh cool. Did you get to visit your cousins while they were at Warwick?
There are so many other things to do at university, not just science, so don’t feel like you have to do science if it isn’t your favourite. For example, at Warwick the business school is very good and has a great reputation. It is important to pick a degree you enjoy as you’ll be doing it for 3 years!
