• Question: what is you least favourite science? mine is physics

      My least favourite science is probably chemistry. What is your favourite?

      Biology – but I was a better mathematician than biologist so I brought to two things together to study epidemiology and biostatistics

      I’m not very good a maths. I can do the basics, and enough to do my job, but advanced, pure mathematics makes my head spin. Luckily we are all good at different things and there is a place for us all in the world of science.

      I liked physics at school, but struggled to remember all the formulae and flunked my physics exam. Best thing that ever happened to me (sorry, Mr K, my physics teacher!) because otherwise I would have gone to a different university and wouldn’t have met my wonderful friends or husband, and wouldn’t be where I am now.
