Hi, I really enjoyed being at Warwick uni. I did a maths degree there, and the maths department is really good. I also met some really good friends there and had a lot of fun.

The university isn’t in a city, which makes it a bit different to universities like Manchester or the ones in London. It is, what we call, a campus university. So all the university buildings are on the same site, and to get there from a city (the nearest city is Coventry) you have to get a bus. All the lectures happen on campus, and there is also a cinema, nightclub, a few pubs, food shops, library, cafes, gym, swimming pool etc etc on campus that all the students go to. You also live on campus in your first year. I think the campus is what makes Warwick different from universities like Manchester or universities in London.

Are you planning to go to university?

I’m sure it’s great, but I’ve never actually been. I went to university in Newcastle, and also spent time studying for a diploma at the University of Liverpool’s school of tropical medicine and hygiene.
